One-on-one instruction is beneficial for students to get more focus on their unique individual goals. Whether that be to just learn the basics, play music as a hobby, to prepare for an audition or performance, or to focus on learning those songs you’ve always wanted to play – it is our mission to help you get there. Our instructors personalize each and every private lesson to cater to YOU!
What will I learn in my private lessons?
Every lesson incorporates proper technique, basic music theory, artistry, playing songs. The rest of the lesson is based on what areas of music you want to focus on: creating your own music, learning jazz chords, perfecting classical pieces, figuring out how to play songs by ear – our instructors can teach it all!
Are Gilbert School of Music Instructors right for me?
All instructors of Gilbert School of Music are either professionals in the music industry and/or have graduated from universities as music majors. Each instructor is carefully selected to be fun, patient, warm, and friendly with all ages that want to learn the instrument. When you register, tell us the personality and background of the instructor you are looking for and our friendly office staff will find the best match for you!
